We just finished a couple of canyoning trips in our new spot at Charaudi just along the Trisuli River in Nepal. This has become our new favorite place for several reasons. First, because the canyon is really awesome and a lot of fun... technical enough to give a challenge, but easy enough that anyone can have fun on this trip. Plus there are beautiful waterfall splash pools the whole way.
A couple of weeks ago we took some new clients, Jovelyn, from Australia along with Bikash from right here in Kathmandu -- they both loved it. Jovelyn's motto was "keep smiling!" and she did just that the whole way. I think Bikash's natural reaction to nerves is laughter, because he could not stop the whole 3 hours of canyoning. To top off the fun, they ended in the local swimming hole at the bottom of a 60 meter waterfall.
Hardcore Nepal guides Ramesh BK and Deepak Nepal did an awesome job at keeping the group safe and fun. As their family lives in the village of Charaudi, the HN team invited our clients for a little R & R at the family hotel before returning to Kathmandu. This trip has turned out to be the perfect stop for people going to Chitwan or Pokhara; and beach camping is the perfect way to end the day before continuing the journey!
